Short-form videostorytelling is everywhere right now. TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Facebook. With the new addition to Ancestry.com’s app for IOS, Stories has joined in the action. You select profiles from your tree and images to create a series of “pages.” You can add a title page and a general text page too. I like it. It’s easy to put a story together and publish it in your Ancestry app.
This update to the IOS app works best when you have images in your Ancestry people profiles. That way you have a choice of pictures to add to your story. It’s possible to add captions to those images too. Here’s a test one I created.
There are a lot of options–text, images, and eventually, there will be a recording feature. Pretty cool.
